Del Taco in California

"This trip I only went in there for a drink. But the staff is really very very nice and very quick. I think most of the time the lines are long and it takes a long time to get your order but in this particular instance it went really quick I was a fifth car back and was in and out before I could even blink my eyes"

"I don't usually review fast food joints, but I went to this location last night for a late night munch, and had an experience so positive it was unforgettable. It wasn't a long experience, we were in and out of there in maybe a minute or two, but the guy who helped us, Ricky, was so friendly and helpful and funny, he really made our night that much better. Just about anyone can make a few tacos, but to deliver an experience so positive and enjoyable in less than 120 seconds, that is a real skill. I will be loyal to this Del Taco from now on as a result. Thanks Ricky man, you're a legend bro."

"Del Taco is just not the same since Jack in the Box purchased them. You instantly saw the quality of the food go down. And you know they started using Jack in the Box's supply chain which is no doubt a cheaper, lower quality distributor. Everything seems processed now and not as fresh as when Del Taco owned them. Del Taco is inching its way towards Taco Bell, which makes me sad because they were so good. Also, ever since California implemented the higher hourly wages for fast food workers, this location has just slashed their workforce in half. There are never more then 2 workers working at a time. I feel bad for them having to try and keep up with all the orders. But since there are only 2 works, at best, the orders take significantly longer then they use to. It's a shame."
